Diagnosis. The wings are a rather rufous brown, grading yellower towards the
base, clearly on the hindwing but in a more mottled fashion on the forewing. The
forewing costa has a series of three yellow wedge-shaped marks, the central one
smaller than the others.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat preference.
Old material is from Sabah and the type locality, Pulo Laut. A male was taken in
lowland dipterocarp forest at Barito Ulu in Kalimantan.
