Labanda umbrosa Hampson, 1912: 400.
Diagnosis. The male antennae are bipectinate rather than filiform. The
forewings are brown with diffusely transverse darker and paler zones and
fasciae. The forewing apex has a small paler brown zone with an arcuate inner
border.
Geographical range. Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference.
All three specimens are from low elevations, one
from Kalimantan near Pontianak and the others from the Mulu survey: at 150m in
wet heath forest on a river terrace; at 500m in hill dipterocarp forest.
