Diagnosis. The forewings are distinctive, a patchwork of ochreous yellow and
rich, dark brown, irrorated and fasciated with silver.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species was taken over a range of 1200-2600m on G. Kinabalu,
being most frequent at 1930m. It also occurs in Sarawak on G. Murud and is
frequent at around 1780-1790m in the upper montane zone of G. Mulu.
