Diagnosis. The forewings are green and brown, irrorated with mauvish grey,
especially lining the distinctly oblique and somewhat parallel fasciae in the
medial zone and in a shallow submarginal arc.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo; Java (ssp. malabarica).
Habitat preference. The species is frequent in upper montane forest over an
altitude range of 1050m to 1930m.
