Diagnosis. The species is distinguished by the forewings which are speckled
brown on dull orange fawn either side of a broad black medial band extending
from the antemedial to the postmedial.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. The species is rare, with only four specimens taken in
recent surveys: three at 300m in dipterocarp forest of the Ulu Temburong; one
from lower montane forest at 1000m on G. Mulu.
