Diagnosis. The facies is closer to that of trilineata except the
forewings are a paler orange, speckled with black scales and with clear black
fasciae in a similar position to those of trilineata. The hindwings are
often paler than in trilineata. The genitalic features mentioned by
Holloway (1976) are variable and unreliable. A few specimens have the medial
zone partially or completely suffused with black.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All specimens have been taken between 1500m and 1930m;
the species is infrequent.
