Swinhoe, Burma.
The forewings of the two included species are rich brown that is bisected
basally by a golden streak. The male antennae are rather lamellate, robust.
The male genitalia have the uncus reduced or absent. The valves are also reduced
(aureovitta Hampson) or with a long, curved process from the base of the
costa (annulata). The vinculum is variably developed into a flimsy,
slightly corematous, pocket-like structure. The aedeagus has a convolute vesica
with some areas of scobination and sclerotisation.
In
the female, the bursa is large, with a strong, but relatively short signum
consisting of the pair of spined bands or triangles (annulata) typical of
the subfamily; the spining is robust.
