Diagnosis. See
nubiferella above. The scales of the coremata are browner, the costa of the
valve angled rather than with a thorn. The aedeagus is narrower, the vesica
small. The female has a long narrow ductus leading to a spherical, unthickened
bursa without a signum or scobination apart from a sclerotised band from the
distal end of the ductus running into the bursa.
Taxonomic note.
The synonymy was established in Heppner & Inoue (1992).
Geographical range.
Taiwan, N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Three specimens have been
taken in recent surveys, two from lowland forest at Semengok near Kuching and
one from alluvial forest at the foot of G. Mulu.
