Celama euryzonata Hampson, 1900: 16.
Diagnosis. The species is a similar size to taeniata, but
distinguished by a very much broader and more transverse dark grey to black band
on the forewing. This band is divided by an irregular postmedial and is darker
immediately basal to it. There is only light brown shading basal to this band
(see the next species). The hindwing is whitish with a broad grey border; there
is a small discal mark.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo, Bali.
Habitat preference. All material is from lowland dipterocarp forest up to
600m, with secondary forest present at several of the sites.
