18-19mm. See thalasscura above for diagnosis of facies and general comments on male genitalia. The male genitalia have a massively triangular costal process, slightly curved basad. The aedeagus is slightly sinuous with a ventral band of small spines over the distal half. The diverticulum of the vesica is moderate but still narrow with a row of about ten slender spines at its apex.

Holotype . Ulu Temburong Expedition 1978, BRUNEI: Base Camp, 300m., m.v.light, 2.x.1978 (T.W. Harman), BM noctuid slide 16674.

Paratypes: 2 Retak, LP 238, 1465 metres, BRUNEI, 21 & 23.iv.1981 (T.W. Harman); 1 BRUNEI: 30-60m, Labi, lowland forest and secondary veg., 12.1.80 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen).

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. As with the previous species, the material is divided between lowland and montane forest localities.
