Diagnosis. The rather ovate forewings are mainly pale grey-green with
irregular white fasciae, but there is a distinctive brownish basal zone with a
semicircular distal border.
Taxonomic note. A related, undescribed species with a darker brown basal
zone occurs in New Guinea.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Bali,
Sulawesi, Seram.
Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey singletons were taken at 250m in
dipterocarp forest on the lower slopes of the limestone G. Api and at 1000m in
lower montane forest on G. Mulu.
