Diagnosis. The ovate forewings, with silver-lined grey areas and margins and
elliptical, black subapical ocellar mark, are unmistakable.
Geographical range. Thailand, Sundaland, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. No material has been taken in recent surveys except a
single specimen from a Eucalyptus deglupta plantation in the lowlands of
Sabah (Chey, 1994). Older material seen is from the lowlands of Kalimantan (Samarinda,
Pontianak).
