Diagnosis. See the previous species. The white spot of the head-like marking
is absent in some specimens.
Geographical range. Indian Subregion, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. This is essentially a lowland species, being taken
particularly commonly in alluvial forest and
forest on limestone during the Mulu survey. Single specimens have been taken at
1000m on G. Mulu and at 1465m on Bukit Retak.
