Diagnosis. The species is a more or less uniform dull brick red with a faint
forewing postmedial marked by darkened veins; there is a pale grey spot at the
forewing disc.
Geographical range. Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is rare, with two specimens taken in hill
dipterocarp forest, Ulu Temburong, Brunei, and one from lower montane forest at
1000m on G. Mulu, Sarawak.
