Diagnosis. Both the subbasal orange spot and the tornal grey patch are
prominent on the forewing, a combination only seen otherwise in K.
basidiscata Holloway, a species from Sumatra and Peninsular Malaysia. The
valves of the male genitalia are triangular (finger-like in the next
species).
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All specimens seen have been taken in the lowlands of
Brunei or Sarawak, mostly from forested localities but a few from coastal
or secondary associations.
