Diagnosis. Both sexes are marked with an irroration of pale grey scales on
the forewing and in a patch at the hindwing tornus. In both sexes the
oblique submarginal grey band is evident, but only the female has obvious
pale grey fasciae bounding the medial zone; these fasciae are sharply
angled at one third from the costa.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. Only four specimens have been taken, two from upper
montane forest at 1465m on Bukit Retak, Brunei, and two from lower montane
forest at 1000m on G. Mulu, Sarawak.
