Diagnosis. See Ambulyx pryeri
Distant.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. O. clavata is much rarer than the previous species and
more frequently encountered in the lowlands.
Biology. Dupont & Roepke (1941) note the larva to resemble that of
A.
substrigilis. The Javan host-plant recorded was Lagerstroemia
(Lythraceae).
