17-18mm,
23 mm. The forewing green
ground colour is slightly bluer than
in virescens; the fasciation is very similar but for the sagittate black
mark on the submarginal just subcostally, which is much more pronounced than in virescens.
The hindwing dorsum is generally suffused with dark brown. The main
difference is in the male genitalia where the socii are set further apart, are
straight, broad ended, rather than adjacent, outcurved, apically serrate; the
serrate ventral processes of the valve are rounded rather than acute; the
serrate margin to the eighth tergite is broadly bilobed rather than monolobed.

1618 m on Bukit Retak, and from lower montane forest (900 m) on the limestone G.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is rarer than virescens but has
been recorded from a similarly wide range of habitats.
