Diagnosis. This is one of the smallest Bornean notodontids. The male forewings are
dark brown with faint longitudinal paler zones, a dash at the reniform and an
irregular, dark submarginal line that is sometimes absent. The female is larger,
greyer, with the submarginal line expanded centrally into an irregular, dark
triangle.
Geographical
range. Sumatra,
Borneo, ?Peninsular Malaysia (specimen in collection of H.S. Barlow not examined
closely).
Habitat
preference. The
species has been taken rarely in lowland dipterocarp forest of Brunei and
Sarawak.
