Diagnosis. Both sexes have a characteristic, sparse but uniform irroration of
rufous brown scales over the forewing and the tornal zone of the hindwing. The
fringes are entirely of this brown. There is usually a small discal spot on the
forewing.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. This is an infrequent species of lowland forest.
