Arctornis sp.
1659
Diagnosis. A rather worn male (12mm) from 250m on the lower
slopes of the limestone G. Api may represent a distinct species but is too
damaged for formal description. The wings are satiny white, unmarked. The frons
is pale rufous below the line of the antennae. The palps are moderate, slender,
yellow. The genitalia (slide 1659) have a rather long, triangular uncus, valves
with a distinctly bowed costal margin and a very long, slender harpe extending
well beyond the valve apex. The species may belong with the sequence described
next.
