12mm. The wings are uniformly satiny white with
conspicuous grey triangles at the margin in the spaces, larger on the forewing,
which has a discal spot of the same colour. These triangles are more intense
than in larger, more satiny species such as poecilonipha and riguata described
earlier. They occur also on the underside. The frons and palps are pale rufous,
the latter rather long. The legs lack dark spots, but are rather worn. The male
genitalia have a long, narrow uncus. The valve apex is diagnostic, with a
scobinate dorsal lobe and a smaller, less scobinate ventral one, with an acute
projection in between, its ventral side serrate. The harpe is just longer than
the valve, slightly upturned at the apex.
