Diagnosis. The ground colour is pure white, the forewing with delicate, faint fawn
fasciation of the Lymantria type. It can be distinguished from the next
species mainly on size (males are 17-18mm) and genitalic characters as discussed
below.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Bali, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is frequent. Most records are from
lowland forest, but one male has been taken at 1620m on G. Kinabalu.
