Diagnosis. This and the next species have similar facies, and both are sexually
dimorphic. The postmedial pale fascia is more arched, less oblique, and both
fasciae are less broken. The darker shades in the male forewing colour
are variable, from pale green to dark brown or grey, and sometimes the medial
zone is darker than the areas outside the fasciae.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. Most records are from a wide range of lowland forest
types, including secondary forest, but the species also extends with less
frequency to as high as 1618m.
Biology. Material in BMNH was reared from Aleurites (Euphorbiaceae).
