Two specimens of a further female of the javana/solitaria
type have been taken in Brunei: at 300m in the Ulu Temburong and at 1465m on
Bukit Retak. They resemble those of solitaria, but have a larger black
discal spot on the forewing set more symmetrically in a narrower but more
elongate yellow triangle on the costa. Neither they nor chirunda are
close to javanoides in facies, so it would be unwise to make any
association at this stage. The genitalia have a much smaller ductus and bursa
than in solitaria, the ostium much less extensively modified or
sclerotised, but flanked by patches of setae.
