Diagnosis.
See Neochera dominia Cramer . There are also striking differences in the male genitalia, as illustrated.

Taxonomic notes. Sundanian material is referable to ssp. bhawana Moore, and lacks the longitudinal white markings in the centre to dorsum of the hindwing in the typical race.

Geographical range. N.E. India; Sundaland.

Habitat preference. The species is rare, taken mainly in the lowlands, though it has been recorded as high as 1900m on G. Kinabalu.
