Asota javana


Diagnosis.
The wings are dark brown with yellow edging, the forewings with large and conspicuous white stigmata within the brown. The abdomen is black with a yellow apex.

Geographical range. Sundaland, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sula Is.

Habitat preference. The species is infrequent, taken from the lowlands to the lower montane forest zone.
