Diagnosis. This species has five transparent areas on the
forewing as in species of the white-spotted group discussed first. All those on
the forewing are diagnostically elongate. Each abdominal segment is ringed with
yellow.
Taxonomic notes. The male genitalia are typical of Amata, hence
the species is transferred to that genus.
Geographical range. Pulo
Laut, an island just south of Borneo.
