Diagnosis. This is a small, slender species resembling the more transparent Amata
such as A. decorata Walker, but with the dark zones of the wings
weak, grey, translucent, and with a dark bar at the end of the cell.
Taxonomic notes. The female genitalia are consistent with placement of this species in Caeneressa.
Geographical range. Borneo, Natuna Is.
Habitat preference. The species is rare in the lowlands. One was taken
during the Mulu survey at light in the understorey of alluvial forest.
