Diagnosis. See the previous species. Sometimes the abdomen is more generally yellow
between the two main rings.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Originally described from above 1000m on G. Kinabalu,
this species comes frequently to light in forested localities and open habitats
from the lowlands to this altitude. The highest record was from 1760m. During
the Mulu survey it was recorded from all lowland forest types but most
abundantly in hill dipterocarp forest on the lower slopes of G. Mulu. It was
only taken in sites where the trap was set in the open (clearings and river
courses).
