Diagnosis.
The white
ground colour and marginal spots within the blue-black forewing border
distinguishes this species from other members of the complex. There is a broad
black basal zone to the forewing, and the hindwing border is also broad.
Geographical
range. Nias,
Engano, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Only
three specimens have been seen: one from Busan and, in recent surveys, one in a
canopy sample in lowland forest at the Danum Valley Field Centre, Sabah, and one
from about 700m in the Ubah Ribu hill dipterocarp forest of the Lanjak Entimau
Wildlife Sanctuary of Sarawak. All are lowland localities.
