Diagnosis.
This is a
small species with a characteristic squarish black patch on the dorsum of the
forewing that takes up almost half the area of the wing. It does not reach the
costa; the rest of the wing is pale fawn. the hindwings are greyish.
Geographical
range. Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Only
two male specimens have been seen, the holotype and one other collected at the
end of the 19th century
by Doherty on Pulo Laut, a low-lying island at the south-east of Borneo.
