8-9mm. See the previous
species. The dorsal zone of the male hindwing is brownish fawn rather than
rufous. The forewings are greyish brown with a dark discal dot and an
irregularly punctate, curved submarginal, concave distad. The male genitalia
have the valve processes smaller than in rufibasis, more appressed. The
valve apices are similar, with small costal and ventral lobes. The aedeagus
vesica has two groups of more robust, more dispersed spines.

Geographical
range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Two
of the specimens are from coastal forest as for rufibasis, but the other
is from forest inland at about 600m.
