,
7-8mm. This is a paler,
browner species than clavata but has similar fasciation to the forewing.
However, the black discal spot is much larger and is elongated basad by a black
streak, sometimes detached from the spot itself. In this feature it is similar
to arida van Eecke (Sumatra, Java) where there is a large, rather
elliptical black spot (seen also in two specimens of aridoides). The
male antennae are ciliate. The male genitalia are very similar to those of arida,
but the valve saccular process is just shorter than the valve itself, rather
than just longer, and not so strongly flexed dorsally over its apical portion.
The aedeagus vesica contains three or four robust cornuti rather than a large
cluster of more slender ones. The female genitalia resemble those of clavata,
but there are no lateral pockets on the seventh segment.
