Diagnosis.
The
species resembles Lambula pallida (see
Lambula pallida Hampson) in size and colour, but the forewings are more oblong in shape, and lack
any punctate black fasciation. The five (cf. three) veins of the radial
branching system are also diagnostic.
Geographical
range. Sri
Lanka, Borneo, Java, Sulawesi (van Eecke, 1930).
Habitat
preference. Several
specimens were taken by Doherty on Pulo Laut off S.E. Borneo in lowland
localities.
