9mm. The forewings are paler
than in fulvioides, less heavily marked with orange, the marking more
punctate. The size is similar, however. The male genitalia have the aedeagus
only slightly flexed. The uncus consists of short, overlapping bifid and bilobed
processes. The valves are simple, each with a slight, asymmetric cucullus, that
of the left valve more falcate.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Most
material is from lower montane forest, but the species occurs more rarely in
forest down to 250m. In addition to the specimens listed, there is one from 600m
at Poring at the foot of G. Kinabalu.
