Diagnosis. See
the previous species. This is the most constrasty of the three species with
striate forewings, the grey darker, the ground colour pale cream. The postmedial, though entire, is much more angular in course than in lucibilis and
has a more extensive greyish area distal to it.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. This
is an uncommon species occurring over a wide altitude range from the lowlands
(including dry heath forest at Telisai in Brunei) to 1660m (G. Kinabalu). During
the Mulu survey eight specimens were taken at 250m on the limestone G. Api.
