Diagnosis. The insect is white, the forewings bifalcate. There is pale grey
banding, that of the forewing forming a broad horseshoe-shaped mark around a
hyaline zone. There are fine, silver discal squiggles within the grey on each
wing.
Taxonomic notes. The two taxa brought into synonymy are identical in facies. No males
from Peninsular Malaysia were available to compare genetically with those from
Borneo.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. Most records are from lowland and lower montane
forest, particularly that on limestone during the Mulu survey.
