Diagnosis. The two Bornean Teldenia are easily separated on wing markings,
as the postmedials of specca are made up of dark reddish lunules and
those of unistrigata Warren are much fainter, linear, entire.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya and W. China to Borneo, Sumatra,
Palawan, Buru and New Guinea.
Habitat preference. T. specca is frequent in lowland and lower montane forest,
extending more rarely up to 2110m (on G. Kinabalu).
