Europlema bilobuncus sp.n.

Europlema bilobuncus

9mm. The facies is somewhat as in desistaria, with a rusty brown area to the hindwing and a white patch interior to the forewing submarginal, albeit smaller, that recurs below weakly. The submarginal lunules are arcuate rather than irregular. The pale discal mark is strong, transversely linear within a generally dark brownish zone. The male genitalia have the uncus distally somewhat bibbed, with further weak lobes just distal to the almost filamentous arms of the gnathus: setae are restricted to these distal and basal lobes. The valves are rather long, narrow, roundedly triangular, the ventral processes short, evenly curved. The female has a single signum set basally, transversely bibbed. The ductus is relatively long, and there is no junction at the forewing point of the ductus seminalis.
