Diagnosis. The shape of the wings, especially the excavated hindwing dorsum, and
the general pattern are diagnostic. See description of Chaetoceras
poi sp. n..
Taxonomic notes. The structure of the male genitalia indicates placement in Chaetoceras.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The holotype and only known specimen is from the
low-lying island of Pulo Laut.
