Dysaethria sp.
A female specimen (slide 405) from the coastal locality of Seria in
Brunei has facies like a more weakly marked version of D. candidaria Walker
comb. n. from New Guinea, another member of the subalbata/nigrifrons
group with bipectinate antennae in the male. However, the genitalia
differ from those of candidaria in having a longer and narrower
sclerotised distal portion of the ductus bursae: this feature does not
match that in subalbata or exprimataria either, hence the
identity of this specimen is unclear.
