Agathia codina australis Prout,

Diagnosis. There are prominent black discal spots, seen only in males of A.
gigantea Butler and A. obsoleta Warren otherwise. The strong anterior
black delineation of the border between green and brown on the hindwing, with a
whitish patch just distad, is diagnostic.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya; Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo (ssp. australis).
Habitat preference. Two specimens have been taken in recent surveys, at 150m on G. Mulu,
Sarawak, and 75m at Rampayoh, Brunei, both in lowland dipterocarp forest.
