Diagnosis. This
species could be confused with E. discata Warren (see below) but has
larger, clearer white patches at the centre of the margin on each wing and a
similar large one on the forewing dorsum just interior to the rather distally
placed postmedial.
Geographical range. Borneo,
Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia (FRIM colln).
Habitat preference. The
type series was from Bidi in the lowlands of Sarawak. Since then only a single
female has been taken, from about 600m at Poring at the foot of G. Kinabalu.
