Diagnosis. The species is distinguished from Spaniocentra
species and Comibaeniti with similar facies by the size of the grey patch on
the distal half of the forewing, traversing almost the entire wing, even in some
specimens extending narrowly to the costa, cutting off a triangle of green at
the apex.
Geographical range. N.E.
Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The
species is infrequent in lowland forest. Biology. Barlow (1982: 124,
under Chloromianta) noted the deep green larva to feed on Saraca (Leguminosae).
Pupation is in a chamber formed of cut leaf pieces spun together.
