This is the largest of the greyish species, distinguished

the centre of the distal margins of each wing. Only P. chlora has the
fasciae so crenulate, but chlora is a smaller, much paler species, with
weaker markings and no yellow on the underside.
Geographical range. N. India to Sundaland, Sulawesi, S. Moluccas, New Guinea.
Habitat preference. Never common, this species has been taken over an altitude range
from the lowlands to 2110m.
