Diagnosis. The strong green tinge to many of the upperside markings,
particularly around the forewing discal spot, between the postmedial and
submarginal at the forewing costa, and in association with the brush of scales
on the hindwing, is the main distinguishing feature.
Geographical range. India, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is uncommon in forested localities from the lowlands to
1930m.
