Bocula
obscurostola sp. n.
15mm. The facies is very similar to that of xanthostola
except
the hindwing is a darker brown in the posterior zone that is paler in xanthostola,
and the forewing discal spot is larger and more irregular, amid a generally more
variegated and less ochreous pale brown ground area. The male genitalia are very
similar to those of xanthostola, but the valve apex is broader and more
falcate exteriorly; the eighth sternite of the abdomen is less deeply cleft.
