21mm. The species is very similar to kiauensis but has all basal
white streaks on the forewing very fine, none significantly broader; the
forewing white bar broadens anteriorly rather than being parallel-sided; the
hindwing border is narrower, almost broken into individual spots as in kinibalina.
In the male genitalia the general form is as in tripunctaria and kiauensis.
The triangular process at the base of the valve costa is broad as in kiauensis
but smaller, with two distal angles, and directed more dorsally than
anteriorly.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The type locality is a roadside flanked by disturbed
and secondary montane forest and agricultural terraces on the slopes of G.
Kinabalu.
