Cossus seria sp. n.
 15mm.
The only specimen is rather worn but the forewings are pale grey with rather
blotchy brownish grey striae. The male genitalia are similar to those of the
previous two species but the valve and basal spine are relatively shorter, and
the process ventral to the basal spine is very much shorter. The bulla is
shallow.

BRUNEI: 3m, Seria, secondary and coastal veg. 28.12.1978 (Lt. Col. M.G.
Allen) BM cossid slide 127.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The single specimen was from a coastal locality.
